  • Ensure all images have descriptive alternative text.
  • Use semantic HTML landmarks (main, nav, header, footer) for screen reader navigation.
  • Ensure all form fields have properly associated labels.
  • Provide sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard accessible with visible focus indicators.
  • Mark decorative images and icons as aria-hidden to reduce screen reader noise.
  • Use aria-label and aria-expanded attributes on navigation menus and dropdowns.

Conformance Status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address any remaining gaps.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some older blog posts may have images without optimal alternative text descriptions — we are reviewing and updating these.
  • Third-party embedded content (such as booking widgets) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with our vendors to improve this.
