How Often Should Children See the Dentist?

Every 6 months for most children. Some children with higher cavity risk may benefit from more frequent visits — every 3-4 months. We will recommend the right schedule for your child based on their individual risk factors.

Digital X-Rays for Children

We use digital X-rays, which emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional film X-rays. X-rays allow us to detect cavities between teeth, monitor tooth development, and identify problems that are not visible during a visual exam. We take X-rays only when clinically necessary — typically once a year for most children.

Medicaid Covers Kids Dental Exams
