Types of Cleanings We Offer

We offer routine prophylaxis cleanings for patients with healthy gums, scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) for patients with gum disease, and periodontal maintenance for patients who have completed gum disease treatment. Our hygienists will recommend the right type of cleaning for your needs.

How Often Should You Get a Cleaning?

Most patients benefit from professional cleanings every 6 months. Patients with gum disease, diabetes, or other risk factors may need cleanings every 3-4 months. We will recommend the right schedule for you at your exam.

Insurance & Payment

Most dental insurance plans cover two cleanings per year at 100%. We accept Florida Medicaid, most major PPO dental insurance plans, and offer no-credit-check financing for any out-of-pocket costs.
